How Do I Use the Buyer’s Guide?

You’ve heard of Google, right? The FTR Buyer’s Guide is not affiliated with Google, but this website does work much like the world’s most popular search engine. On our homepage, you will find a search bar. To find fishing tackle for your store, simply search for a brand or a type of tackle that you’re looking for. For example, if you’re looking for new crankbaits, you could type, “crank bait, square bill, Bandit, Rapala, etc.”

If you’d like to re-stock on fishing line and want to know what the latest products from manufacturers are, you could try, “fishing line, fluorocarbon, Sunline, P-Line, Seaguar, etc.”

Rods, reels, nets, electronics, PFDs, you name it—it’s all here in the FTR Buyer’s Guide.

Can I buy fishing tackle on this site?

No. This Buyer’s Guide is a resource to connect you, the tackle dealer, with manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors who fill the supply chain and put product on your shelves. As such, you cannot purchase product on this website. This is not a consumer-facing website. It is a business-to-business platform; however, you can get information on the latest products in the tackle world in the form of photos, videos, and product descriptions. Be sure to leverage these assets for your store by sharing with your customers and your staff to maximize your selling opportunities.
